Nicholas Andoh

Brief info

Nicholas Andoh was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Finance and Administration) in November 2019. Mr. Andoh brings 16 years’ extensive experience in Financial leadership, Operations management, International Trade facilitation, Policy Planning & Evaluation, and Development Finance to the GIISDEC management team.

Mr. Andoh started work as a Technician Engineer at the Ghana Bauxite Company, Awaso and Volta River Authority (VRA), Akuse Plant in the years, 2005 and 2007 respectively. From 2008 to 2012 he served as a supervisor at Inspection and Control Services (ICS) (a Multi-National company) providing international trade facilitation consultancy services to the Customs Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS) of the Ghana Revenue Authority through the government of Ghana.

He joined Image-Ad Ghana Limited as Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist from 2012 to 2015 on a grant project from the Alliance for a Green Revolution Africa (AGRA).

In 2016 Mr. Andoh joined the Public Service and worked as Assistant Manager, Monitoring & Evaluation at the National Youth Employment Agency from 2016 to 2017.

Prior to his appointment in 2019, he was the head of the Monitoring and Evaluation Unit at the Ministry of Special Development Initiatives.

Mr. Andoh holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering from the Kumasi Polytechnic, a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc) in Operations and Project Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), and a Master of Science degree (MSc) in Development Finance from the University of Ghana. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Development Finance from the University of Stellenbosch Business School.
