Mr. Abdulai Batiah Santi is a dynamic and proactive business finance and human resource professional with over 15 years of experience across both the public and private sectors in Ghana. His career demonstrates a strong commitment to administrative excellence, organizational development, and efficient service delivery, with a proven record of accomplishment in educational administration, local governance, and community engagement.
Prior to his appointment as Deputy CEO of Ghana Integrated Iron and Steel Development Corporation, Mr. Batiah was the Deputy Chief Administrator at Northern Star Senior High School. He also served as the Principal Administrative Officer at the Gwollu District Education Directorate from 2018 to 2022, where he provided strategic administrative leadership and oversaw key educational support functions.
Mr. Batiah has held top administrative positions in other public and private organisations such as the Daffiama Bussie Issa District Assembly, Homebase Electricals Co. Ltd, AKATE Farms, and Agro-star Cotton Company Ltd, developing extensive expertise in human resource management, finance, and logistics management.
In addition to his professional career, Mr. Batiah Santi has played a significant role in the Ghanaian politics. He is the current Upper West Regional Treasurer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and was instrumental in raising funding for the party’s 2024 elections’ campaign.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Human Resource Option) from the University of Professional Studies, Accra, and a Diploma in Business Studies (Accounting) from Tamale Polytechnic. His academic background is rooted in a solid foundation of secondary and junior secondary education from Bolgatanga Secondary School and Tumu Junior Secondary School, respectively.
He is fluent in English language, Twi, Hausa, Sissala, Frafra, and Waale, and is guided by strong Islamic values. Mr. Santi brings to every role a deep commitment to teamwork, accountability, and community-centred leadership
