A team from the Ghana Integrated Iron and Steel Development Corporation (GIISDEC) paid a courtesy call on the Paramount Chiefs and Elders of Kadjebi-Asato and Akpafo Todzi traditional areas ahead of a reconnaissance tour of the Oti region deposit sites. Established by an Act of parliament in March, 2019 to develop and promote an Integrated Iron and Steel Industry (IISI). The Board Inaugurated in November 2019. The Company will hold Government of Ghana’s full interests across the value chain in the Integrated Iron and Steel Industry – minimum 30% stake in any new mine, refinery or smelter.
